In this report, TAG Cyber reviews some newly advanced means for performing runtime security of software. These means are driven by an intense focus on comparing running software to application mappings of what is expected regardless of environment, including on-premise, cloud, and containers. Such analysis is showing good promise in practice and the commercial platform by Virsec is used to demonstrate the practical deployment of a solution that works well in modern runtime systems.
